LinkedIn adds member follower, post and video statistics APIs
What changed
The June 2025 changelog lists three member endpoints: memberFollowersCount (permission r_member_profileAnalytics, with q=me from 202504 and q=dateRange from 202505), memberCreatorPostAnalytics (q=me and q=entity from 202506) and memberCreatorVideoAnalytics (q=entity from 202506). The post and video endpoints use the r_member_postAnalytics permission.
What it means
Third-party tools can now read a member's own follower counts, post analytics and video analytics, with new permissions.
Who is affected
Scheduling and analytics tools that report on personal LinkedIn profiles.
What to do
Request r_member_profileAnalytics for follower statistics and r_member_postAnalytics for post and video statistics, and use version 202506 or later for the post endpoints.
A later breaking change to the metricType field of these endpoints has its own entry on this site.
