New feature LinkedIn Severity: low
LinkedIn Posts API raises the multi-image post limit from 9 to 20 images
What changed
The July 2023 changelog (version 202307) states that the maximum number of images in a multi-image post increased from 9 to 20. The page does not give a separate effective day.
What it means
Organic multi-image posts created through the API can now carry up to 20 images instead of 9.
Who is affected
Tools that publish image carousels or multi-image posts to LinkedIn.
What to do
No action needed to keep working. Update any image-count validation in your composer if it still caps at 9.
