YouTube bulk report versions for Shorts views deprecated on 31 October 2025
What changed
On 24 June 2025 the Reporting API published new versions of every report that includes views, effective 30 June 2025, because Shorts views now count each start or replay. The old versions were first due to be deprecated on 30 September 2025. A 22 September 2025 entry moved that date to 31 October 2025, except Claims report v1.0 and v1.1, which stayed on 30 September.
What it means
Scheduled bulk report jobs that still use the older report versions stop receiving data.

What to do by 31 Oct 2025
Move jobs to the new report versions, for example channel basic video reports from a2 to a3, which include an engaged_views column. The deadline was 31 October 2025.
