Video upload quota cost lowered from about 1600 to about 100 units
What changed
Google updated the YouTube Data API docs and Quota Calculator to show a video upload costing approximately 100 units instead of approximately 1600. The revision history does not give a separate effective date.
What it means
Upload tools on the default 10,000-unit daily quota can plan for far more videos.insert calls per day than before.
