Instagram API with Instagram Login launched, no Facebook Page required
What changed
On July 23, 2024 Meta launched the Instagram API with Instagram Login. A Facebook Page is no longer required, API calls use graph.instagram.com, and the Messenger API is no longer used for Instagram messaging. New apps add the Instagram product to use it.

Instagram Professional accounts can now be connected without linking a Facebook Page, which simplifies the connect flow for scheduling tools.
