SocialPilot review 2026: pricing by plan, approvals and limits
Updated 6 Nov 2026 · prices checked 6 Nov 2026 · source
SocialPilot is a sensible pick for an agency or multi-location team that will sit on Premium: $85 a month billed yearly buys 25 accounts, 6 users, unlimited client seats, client approvals, CSV bulk scheduling and white-label reports, with 14 days to try it and no card. The cheaper plans are thinner than the price suggests. Essentials has no analytics, inbox or approvals, Standard has no bulk upload or client approvals, and the API and SSO are Enterprise only. Annual plans can't be refunded, so trial on monthly first.
Agencies and multi-location brands that need client approvals, branded reports and a few team seats in one flat price, and will use Premium or above.
Solo creators who want analytics on a budget, anyone who needs a free plan, and teams that need a public API or competitor reports beyond Facebook and Instagram.
What it really costs
Typical setups, priced from SocialPilot's own pricing page. Taxes not included.
| Setup | Plan | Monthly billing | Annual, per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo user, up to 7 accounts, scheduling only7 accounts, 1 user, 500 AI credits, first comment, repeat posts, Zapier and the MCP server. No analytics, Social Inbox, approvals or bulk CSV. Prices exclude tax. | Essentials | $30 | $25.50 |
| Solo user, 10 accounts, still no analyticsExtra accounts are $4 a month each. The pricing page shows the same $4 on both billing tabs and doesn't say whether add-ons are billed or discounted yearly, so the yearly total is not stated. At $42 monthly, Standard ($50) adds 5 more accounts, 2 more users, analytics and the inbox. | Essentials plus 3 extra accounts | $42 | Not published |
| Small team, 3 people, 12 accounts, reports and manager approval15 accounts, 3 users, 1,000 AI credits, Social Inbox with automation, analytics, PDF and scheduled reports, content and manager approval workflows. | Standard | $50 | $42.50 |
| Small team, 4 people, 15 accountsExtra users are $5 a month each on Standard and Premium. The Essentials card offers extra accounts but no extra users. The page doesn't say how add-ons are billed on yearly plans, so the yearly total is not stated. | Standard plus 1 extra user | $55 | Not published |

Pros and cons
Each point says how we know it: from SocialPilot's own documentation, or from a hands-on test with its date.
Pros
- Users are bundled into each plan (1, 3, 6, then unlimited on Ultimate) and extra users cost $5 a month, so a small team doesn't pay per seat from the first login. Documented · source
- Even Essentials includes first comment, repeat posts, UTM parameters, Canva, Slack, Zapier, the browser extension, mobile apps and the MCP server. Documented · source
- Premium gives unlimited client seats, client management and client approval workflows, and pending approvals get automatic email reminders until someone acts. Documented · source

SocialPilot is a scheduler priced in plan tiers, each bundling a number of social accounts, users and AI credits: Essentials covers 7 accounts and 1 user for $30 a month ($25.50 billed yearly). The useful agency features (client approvals, CSV bulk upload, white-label reports) start on Premium at $100 a month ($85 billed yearly). Everything below comes from SocialPilot's pricing page, its machine-readable pricing file, terms, product pages and product updates, read on 2026-11-06. SocialPilot's help centre returned 403 errors, so per-network media limits could not be checked. Nothing here is from hands-on testing.
Who SocialPilot is for
SocialPilot is built around the agency that manages a few dozen client accounts. On Premium, $85 a month billed yearly buys 25 accounts, 6 users and unlimited client seats, so clients can review and approve posts without counting against your users. The same plan adds CSV bulk scheduling, competitor reports and white-label reports. Ultimate doubles the price for 50 accounts, unlimited users and full white label with your own domain.
The lower plans are easy to misread. Essentials is a scheduler only: no analytics, no Social Inbox, no approvals and no reports, and its plan card doesn't offer extra users. Standard adds those for a team of 3, with manager approval, but leaves out bulk upload and client approval. A solo creator who wants to see how posts perform has to pay $42.50 a month billed yearly for Standard.
Yearly billing saves exactly 15% on every plan. Extra accounts are $4 a month and extra users $5, so you can stretch a plan a little before stepping up: 5 extra accounts on Premium cost $20 a month. The pricing page doesn't say whether add-ons are discounted on yearly billing. Prices exclude tax, and the plans page FAQ says you pay in US dollars by card or PayPal, even though the cards also show prices in euros, pounds and Australian dollars. India has its own plans with different limits.
Publishing, network by network
SocialPilot lists 10 networks: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Business Profile and Bluesky. The details below come from SocialPilot's own scheduler pages, which are marketing pages and don't list file sizes or video lengths.
Instagram. Auto-publishing of posts, Reels, Stories and carousels, including carousels that mix images and video, for Business and Creator profiles. You can tag up to 9 public profiles, add a location and schedule a first comment. The first comment only works on directly published posts, not on reminder posts.
Facebook. Text, link, carousel, Story and Reel posts on pages, with custom call-to-action buttons and bulk scheduling of up to 500 posts. The page doesn't mention Groups or personal profiles.
LinkedIn. Text, image, GIF, video and document posts, carousels of up to 30 images, mentions of people and company pages, and a first comment, for profiles and company pages. Analytics are for company pages.
X. Posts of up to 280 characters with images, GIFs or video, bulk scheduling of up to 500 posts from a CSV file and posts from RSS feeds. The AI assistant can write threads, but none of the pages read confirm that you can schedule a thread.
TikTok. Video with a cover image, description and privacy setting, published directly when you switch on "Direct Publishing". The page doesn't say what happens to posts without that switch.
Threads and Bluesky. Threads posts of up to 500 characters with up to 10 images, a link or one video. Bluesky posts of up to 300 characters. Neither page says more.
Pinterest. Pins to several boards in one account, and bulk scheduling. The page contradicts itself: one section mentions video and carousel Pins, while its FAQ says you can schedule image and GIF Pins.
YouTube. Videos and Shorts, with privacy settings, the "Made for Kids" flag and custom thumbnails, posted right away, scheduled or queued.
Google Business Profile. Posts with images, GIFs or video and custom call-to-action buttons for several profiles. Events and offers were added in September 2026.
Planning, team and approvals
Every plan gets smart queues, the calendar with drag and drop, post previews, per-network edits, the Content Library, tags, repeat posts (daily, weekly or monthly), a holiday calendar, UTM parameters, a URL shortener and draft posts with internal comments. AI Suggested Time proposes posting slots based on each account's engagement. RSS feeds are capped at 5, 10, 15 and 20 by plan.
Bulk Edit lets you change up to 30 scheduled posts at once, with find and replace and one shared calendar for rescheduling. CSV bulk upload, which schedules up to 500 posts at once or imports them into the Content Library, needs Premium. Custom fields and image watermarks are Premium too.
Users are bundled: 1 on Essentials, 3 on Standard, 6 on Premium, unlimited on Ultimate. Roles named on the Pinterest page are Admin, Manager and Content Scheduler. Standard adds content and manager approval workflows. Premium adds client management and client approval, with unlimited client seats, so clients review through shareable links rather than paid logins. Pending approvals trigger email reminders until someone acts, and approvals and comments also work in the iOS and Android apps.
Analytics and reporting
Analytics start on Standard: account and post performance, PDF reports, reports sent by email on a schedule. The features page also says you can track organic and paid results separately. Premium adds custom reports that combine several platforms, competitor reports and white-label PDF reports with your logo and colours.
History reaches back up to 24 months on X, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, 18 months on Google Business Profile and 12 months on LinkedIn. A single report still covers at most three months. Competitor reports benchmark growth, posting activity, post type mix and engagement, but only for Facebook pages and Instagram accounts.
The Social Inbox, also from Standard, gathers comments, mentions and messages and can reply to Stories. Inbox automation can auto-reply to DMs with AI or your own text and auto-reply to comments on chosen posts. Sending an automatic DM to someone who comments works on Instagram only. The pages read don't list which networks the inbox covers.
API, AI and integrations
AI credits come with every plan: 500 on Essentials, 1,000 on Standard, 5,000 on Premium and unlimited on Ultimate and Enterprise. The AI assistant writes captions, suggests hashtags, creates variations and repurposes long content. None of the pages read say how many credits one action uses.
The MCP server appears on every paid plan. SocialPilot says it lets an AI assistant such as Claude publish and schedule posts to Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Threads and Bluesky, read your accounts and client groups, save drafts for approval and check what was delivered or failed. TikTok, YouTube and Google Business Profile aren't named. It connects with your SocialPilot login or an API key.
That API key is a puzzle, because the API itself is listed only on Enterprise, priced by sales, and I found no public API documentation or rate limits. Zapier is included from Essentials, as are Slack, Canva, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box and Unsplash. The integrations page also lists Giphy, Bitly, Rebrandly, Sniply, Feedly, WordPress, Zillow, Shopify and a ChatGPT app for scheduling posts.
Limits and gotchas
- Annual plans can't be refunded. On monthly billing, SocialPilot refunds the latest charge if you forgot to cancel or haven't used the account for more than a day since it. After that there are no prorated refunds, and annual subscriptions get none at all.
- Cancelling takes effect at the end of the cycle. Only the account owner can cancel, from the Edit Profile page. You can also pause a subscription.
- Downgrades leave credit, not cash. Moving to a cheaper plan saves the unused time as SocialPilot credit for future bills.
- Prices can change with notice. The terms let SocialPilot change rates if it tells you in advance and lets you cancel first.
- White label turns off Slack. The plans FAQ says accounts on white label can't use the Slack integration.
- Old plan names still appear. The plans page FAQ still mentions an "Agency+" plan that the current pricing doesn't list.
- India is different. India has only Standard, Premium and Enterprise, with different limits (Standard is 10 accounts and 1 user, but includes bulk scheduling).
- Support is 24 hours a day, 5 days a week on every self-serve plan, through email, chat, the app and scheduled calls. Round-the-clock 24x7 support is Enterprise only.
- Help centre unverified. help.socialpilot.co returned 403, so file sizes, video lengths and per-network restrictions here come only from marketing pages.

What users report elsewhere
Recurring themes on public review sites and forums, summarised and linked. These are other people's experiences, not our tests, and we don't turn them into a score.
- Trustpilot: Recent reviews (late August to mid October 2026) mostly praise support staff by name, patient onboarding, ease of use and the price compared with other schedulers, and a few mention bulk upload for several accounts. Complaints are fewer: one reviewer reports scheduled dates shifting when planning weeks ahead and vague error messages for failed posts, and others ask for multiple captions on Instagram carousels, LinkedIn polls and better handling of 50+ accounts. SocialPilot replies to the visible reviews. Trustpilot notes the company hasn't asked customers for reviews recently. Read 6 Nov 2026 · open
- GetApp: GetApp's summary of its verified reviews (updated October 2026) says users like managing many accounts in one place, bulk scheduling, analytics and the price against Buffer and Hootsuite, and find support responsive. Reported problems are account disconnections, image and video upload issues, wanting more Instagram automation, an interface that could be clearer, features locked to higher plans, no permanent free plan and a trial some find too short.
