LinkedIn Native Scheduler
Checked 26 Oct 2026 · source · 1 networks · API not stated · AI no
People who only post to LinkedIn and want to queue a few posts without another tool.
You post to more than LinkedIn or want a content calendar, analytics across networks or team approvals: it schedules one post at a time on LinkedIn only.
Overview
This is the scheduling option inside LinkedIn's own post composer, not a separate product. Per LinkedIn's help article, you write the post, click the clock icon, choose a date and time, and confirm. On mobile you tap Post, then the clock icon. Scheduled times are converted to UTC based on your device's time zone.
A post can be scheduled from 10 minutes to 3 months ahead, and you can type an exact time instead of using 30-minute steps. Events and jobs posts can't be scheduled. Scheduled posts are viewable from the clock icon, where you can preview and delete them, change the time through the More menu, or unschedule a post and publish it immediately or discard it.
What my notes don't cover is as important. The page I read gives no price for scheduling and I'm not claiming a free plan. Page-level scheduling for LinkedIn Pages is in separate help articles I didn't read, and I didn't check any AI features. It is one network and one post at a time.
What it does well
- No extra tool or account is needed.
- The scheduling window runs from 10 minutes to 3 months ahead.
- You can type an exact time.
- Scheduled posts can be previewed, edited, rescheduled or deleted.
What to watch out for
- It covers LinkedIn only.
- Events and jobs posts can't be scheduled.
- Times are converted to UTC from your device's time zone.
- Cross-network calendars, analytics and approvals are not described on the page I read.
Plans and prices
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually, per month | Unit | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Built-in scheduling | Not published | Not published | not stated | Schedule a post from 10 minutes to 3 months ahead; not supported for events and jobs |
The help article I read states no price for scheduling, so my notes hold no prices and make no free-plan claim. There is no ladder to describe: it is a single built-in option, with no plan names, account counts or seat limits stated. The only limits given are timing ones, 10 minutes to 3 months ahead, and the exclusion of events and jobs posts. If you manage LinkedIn Pages, the Page-level rules sit in other help articles that I didn't read, so I can't say whether anything is metered there.
