Best for

X creators who want AI tweet and thread writing, scheduling and auto-DM automation in one tool.

Skip it if

You post anywhere besides X, or want AI writing on the cheapest tier; Discover lists no AI features.

Overview

Tweet Hunter is an X growth tool in which scheduling is the quiet part. The louder parts are Auto DM, Auto Plug (a promotional reply once a tweet reaches a like threshold), Auto Retweet, a CRM with bulk DM, and Engage tabs for people, keywords and mentions. It publishes to X only, and it shares an operator, lempire, with Taplio. That tie matters if you also want LinkedIn, because the link runs through Taplio by API keys.

Everything here sits on one platform's rules. The connection uses X OAuth with an extra posting permission, long-form posts need X Premium plus a refreshed token, and only the primary account can log in. The automation has hard edges: Auto DM runs for 72 hours after a post, is capped at 500 DMs per tweet, and requires you to tell people a DM will follow. On top of that sit monthly allowances of 3,000, 7,500 or 15,000 by plan. Auto Retweet and Auto Plug on a thread look only at the first tweet.

The vendor's own pages disagree in several places, and I'd verify them before paying. The subscriptions summary says Discover has unlimited secondary accounts, while the multiple-accounts article says Discover supports none and Grow allows 5 in total. The same summary says Grow has unlimited AI, while the pricing page lists unlimited AI only under Enterprise. The homepage showed plans from $49 and $99, the pricing page shows $29, $49 and $199. The yearly toggle shows -30% and -53% with no dollar amounts, and a banner says up to 25%. A countdown mentions a Pro plan at 50% off that is not among the listed tiers.

Smaller practical points: analytics history is only 30 days, counted from your first visit to the Analytics page, so connect early. CSV import needs media already hosted online. Ghostwriting works by adding a client's handle without sharing a login, but both sides need paid subscriptions. Trustpilot shows 3.2 from only 2 reviews, which says little either way. Data is processed in the United States, and I saw no security certification pages.

What it does well

  • The automation set is wide for X: Auto DM with keyword triggers, Auto Plug, Auto Retweet and evergreen queue slots.
  • The queue is simple to shape, with three default slots based on follower activity and an Edit queue option to add or delete any number.
  • A writer and client approval flow exists, with pending, revision requested and approved statuses.
  • Library and import options include a viral tweet library, 4K+ staff-picked tweets by the vendor's count and CSV import and export of drafts and published tweets.
  • A Custom Model on Enterprise trains the AI on at least 25 of your tweets and retrains on each addition.

What to watch out for

  • Discover, the $29 tier, lists no AI features, so writing help starts at Grow.
  • X is the only network, and a platform rule change affects scheduling, DMs and retweets at once.
  • Analytics keep only 30 days of history, and collection starts at your first visit.
  • The vendor's pages conflict on Discover's secondary accounts, Grow's AI limits and the refund policy, which appears on the homepage and a tool page but not on the pricing page.
  • There is no public API documentation, and the help center does not define roles beyond Writer and Client modes.

Plans and prices

PlanBilled monthlyBilled annually, per monthUnitWhat you get
Discover $29 Not published per month 1 X account, 3,000 auto-DMs/month, no AI features listed
Grow $49 Not published per month 5 X accounts, 7,500 auto-DMs/month, AI writer
Enterprise $199 Not published per month Unlimited X accounts, 15,000 auto-DMs/month, custom trained AI, unlimited AI use

The three tiers are split by X accounts and the Auto DM allowance: Discover is $29 a month for 1 account and 3,000 DMs, Grow is $49 for 5 accounts and 7,500 DMs, and Enterprise is $199 for unlimited accounts and 15,000 DMs. The real step is Discover to Grow, since that is where the AI writer appears. Extra X accounts you own cost nothing within plan limits. Team members each get their own account on the same plan. Team discounts are 25% at three members and 30% above 11, with $49 per licence given as an example. A writer and a client both need paid plans. Yearly prices are not listed in dollars, so the discount cannot be worked out from the pricing page.
